i can’t help thinking about this since it’s happening to me but: imagine dipper and mabel are graduating high school, and the grunks are there to watch the ceremony.
and as the two get their diplomas stan gets emotional and stands up and starts clapping rapidly and cheering for them (and ford is clapping too, but at first asks stan to sit down — eventually though ford joins him and they’re both a crying mess, seeing the kids all grown up and ready to move on with their lives and so forth, and are just, so proud of them. however ford grows pretty emotional when he realizes that dipper and mabel were both able to graduate together as ford graduated alone without stan by his side. he’s so happy and relieved that the two of them were able to hold such a strong bond as siblings, even at the end of high school and both of the grunks wish nothing but the best for them)
PS: WHEN THEY CALL MABEL AND DIPPER’S NAMES THE GRUNKS CHEER AND WHISTLE THEM ON, MAKING THE KIDDOS SMILE WIDE AS THEY’RE GETTING THEIR DIPLOMAS
